Cooking in Kindergarten

Today was a fun day to cook Egg in a Frame (or circle in a square for our shape unit of study). Everyone got to crack an egg and flip their own “frame”. Then we got to eat and enjoy them

Teddy Bear Picnic

Swim Gala

Book Character Day

Kindergarten had a blast on Book Character Day. Can you find some of your favorite book characters in the picture? We also enjoyed reading many great books and had fun kidnapping teachers to read to us during Book Week! We love to read in Kindergarten!

Kindergarteners eat their hands

During our All About Me unit of study the kindergarten students made hand print cookies. The children read the recipe to make cookie dough, measured and mixed up the cookie dough and then made cookies tracing their hands in the cookie dough.

The best part was after they were cooked we got to eat them! Fingers never tasted so good!!

Snowing in Kindergarten

During our winter unit of study the kindergarten children made snowballs… Yummy snowballs. They are made by making rice krispy treats in the shape of a ball and then shaking the ball in powdered sugar. They were very fun to make and even more fun to eat!

Now if only a real snowball tasted so good!!
